Pain In The Butt!

Remember how I said work sucks? Well, it just got worse. I was talking to a woman on the phone. She kept arguing with me, saying something wasn't when it was. It made me so mad! She called twice, tried a guilt trip on me (didn't work), practically called me a liar. Yeah, not good. But then a man calls (not related) and tries to tell be some bogus story about our company. Yeah, not a good day to mess with me. I've labeled them 'Pains in the Butt'. Sounds good, doesn't it? 4 days 'til my party!! Yeah! Sweetness. Around 30-35 people are coming, I hope. You know what I hate? When people say they'll come, but then never show up, or they never call and show up. That, or they just don't call and tell you they can't come.

Bugs me to no end. I'm hoping at least 5 of my friends from high school will come. I know for a fact my two best friends are coming, but the rest haven't let me know yet. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a new job yet, but I'm keeping my hopes up (maybe a little too high). Jobs are hard to come by nowadays for some stupid reason. But, hey, gotta go. I'm actually at work right now. Bye!

Party Over Here!

I can't wait for the weekend! We're having my graduation party that day (Saturday) and I'm so excited. I just hope that my friends who said they're coming actually come! Last time, at my birthday party, 15 people said they were coming, only 3 showed up. So, yeah, I'll be upset. Hey, y'all are invited, k? Let me know how you're doing!!!

Word of Advice!

Don't get a job if you can help it. It sucks. My job right now is moving to a different location, so I'm looking for new work right now. I've actually gone as far as applying at Superfresh! Yeah, I'm desperate! Well, peeps, gtg.

Yes, it's true, I've returned from New York. Tan and with a boyfriend! Believe it or not, it's my 5th cousin! We've liked each other for years! (Just never had the guts to tell each other, until now!). I really wish someone would post a comment. PLEASE!!?? Well, anyway, just filling you in on my life. Let me hear from yours.

Just need to Vent!

Hey, everybody! (Not like anyone reads this, but, anyway). Just need to vent a little. My boss is practically breathing down my neck here at work. First she tells me to give out the info about the job, then she tells me I'm giving too much info. How am I supposed to work like this? That, and my co-worker has to have more hours than me mainly because she has a family to support. Yeah, I can understand where they're coming from, but still. Anyway, I just recently found out she hired a fourth receptionist, so how can she afford another one if she can't afford to give me more working hours? I get the feeling I'm going to either be fired or forced to quit. It sucks, mainly because I don't have another job lined up. How am I supposed to work and earn money for college and stuff? Yeah, I'm being set up for some major let down here. Anyone know of any good full-time jobs in New Jersey, preferably in Cape May Court House? I'm desperate here, people. HELP ME!

Packing and Planning

Word to the wise, don't wait til the last minute to pack for a vacation. Then again, it really isn't my fault, b/c my grandmother said I wasn't leaving until Friday, but then my aunt and uncle said there wasn't enough room for me in their car so I'm going with my grandparents, who are leaving tomorrow! Ahhhhhh! It's killing me! I probably won't be on here for a while b/c they don't have a computer, so I'll let you know how things go when I return. Bye!

Heading To New York!

Hey, guys. You know, I'm beginning to wonder if anyone reads this. Any who, I'll be leaving for New York for my family reunion on Thursday, June 28. I'm so excited because I didn't go last year. I was working in a daycare and couldn't really leave. We usually have it at a park, but the park's been having problems with flooding and stuff, so we're having it at my cousin's farm instead. Which we don't have a whole lot of room to move around there. Cows take up a lot of space, trust me. Hey, even if you hate this blog, think I'm just some crazy girl in desperate need of help, post a comment. I need to know people are reading these. If not, well, I found a place I can vent.

Maximum Ride Books and . . . Movie?

I just received my Maximum Ride: Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports a while ago and loved it. If you haven't read the fabulous story of Max, Fang, Iggy, Angel, Nudge, and the Gasman, you don't know what you're missing. Run, don't walk, to your nearest bookstore and ask for it. Whoever Said Work Was Fun?

Whoever said work was fun obviously never had a job where you have to combat the blazing heat to put flyers on cars just so the people who own the cars can receive better jobs than you. Yeah, that's what my boss had me doing today, though it was kinda fun since I bribed my siblings into helping me. We took on two stores and just walked around, putting cards on people's cars, dodging all of the people walking out so they couldn't see that we were the ones doing it. I don't even know how hot it is inside, but let me explain. I'M WEARING SHORTS! I never, ever, ever wear shorts unless I'm desperate. Yeah, people, the heat might get to your bosses too, just to give you a heads up. (okay, my boss didn't tell me to, I offered, but that was before I knew it was supposed to be this hot out. Plus, I get paid by the hour and by how many flyers I put in cars. Does 272 sound good to you?)

Loving A Person It's All It's Cracked Up To Be!

Yeah, you know what I'm talking about. All those girls who dumped you over the stupidest things, all the guys who said they loved you, then turned away when a new girl walked into their lives. We've all been there at least once. (or maybe one too many times.) The best advice I can give is, try not to get too attached. Sure, you can hug, kiss, hold hands, but don't let it get so far along that no amount of glue can pick up the pieces afterwards. Maybe I'm stepping out of line. I know I'm definitely out of my comfort zone, but just remember, that special someone is out there somewhere, wondering exactly who you are, what you look like, and having the same doubts you've been having about your relationships. Learn to forgive and forget. Okay, I'll say just forgive, because I know forgetting is not that easy. Just give it a try. At least talk to the person who hurt you. Tell them how you feel. Turns out, maybe they'll feel the same way. But, hey, that's just my opinion.

Scholarships and Such

Okay, yeah, so I, at first, didn't want to go to college, but then bing, bang, boom! The Art Institute of Philadelphia practically plant themselves at my feet. So, I've been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, trying to apply for every scholarship I'm eligible for. Let me tell you and give you a word of advice, don't wait till the last minute cause you'll regret it later! This is coming from personal experience.
