Been A Long Time

It's been years since I've posted anything here. Honestly, I forgot about this place until a friend of mine made one. Anyway, lots has happened and, unfortunately, I can't tell it all. But it's good to be back.

Hey, everyone! Sorry it's taken me so long to post here, but I've been extremely busy at work lately. I work at a resort in the store. A few weeks ago, we had seven people quit the campground, so it was just me, my best friend, and another girl who could only work weekends. But, recently, my mom's become the manager. Unfortunately, I've had to work several times by myself on weekends, which is always mobbed so I'm like running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Anyway, there's a really cute guy in maintenance named Erik. Unfortunately, he likes my best friend, Sam. See a pattern here, people? I like him, he likes my friend. Yeah. Anyway, I gave him a note last night at work telling him I like him. I'm waiting for a response today.

It's Been A While!

Wow! It's been such a long time since I posted anything on here. So much stuff has happened to me that I could tell you about. I've recently been asked out by my best friend named Jeff. He asked me on Christmas Eve morning while chatting on yahoo instant messenger. I've also been involved in a car accident, which totalled my mom's brand new car.

Another victory for me is I've started college. I'm majoring in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production, which is a big step for me from high school. The teachers here are awesome and actually know what they're talking about. My algebra teacher for this quarter isn't afraid to curse at us or make fun of us, especially when we KNOW he's making fun of us and we laugh with him. Heck, he did it to me today and I was laughing the whole time. But he gives us good 'cheating' strategies that help a lot in that class. Unfortunately, I have to pay $20 for the packet so I can do the homework for next week.

I was sick almost all last week and I got such stupid stuff for Christmas. I got a toaster and a DVD player from my grandparents for my dorm. Which, I can't really complain about the DVD player. I mean, we just got cable that we only have to pay $25 a quarter, which is every 11 weeks. But, anyway, this is gonna be a long post if I keep going at this rate, so I'll stop. I'm hoping someone will comment, because that would just make my day.

Pain In The Butt!

Remember how I said work sucks? Well, it just got worse. I was talking to a woman on the phone. She kept arguing with me, saying something wasn't when it was. It made me so mad! She called twice, tried a guilt trip on me (didn't work), practically called me a liar. Yeah, not good. But then a man calls (not related) and tries to tell be some bogus story about our company. Yeah, not a good day to mess with me. I've labeled them 'Pains in the Butt'. Sounds good, doesn't it? 4 days 'til my party!! Yeah! Sweetness. Around 30-35 people are coming, I hope. You know what I hate? When people say they'll come, but then never show up, or they never call and show up. That, or they just don't call and tell you they can't come.

Bugs me to no end. I'm hoping at least 5 of my friends from high school will come. I know for a fact my two best friends are coming, but the rest haven't let me know yet. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a new job yet, but I'm keeping my hopes up (maybe a little too high). Jobs are hard to come by nowadays for some stupid reason. But, hey, gotta go. I'm actually at work right now. Bye!

Party Over Here!

I can't wait for the weekend! We're having my graduation party that day (Saturday) and I'm so excited. I just hope that my friends who said they're coming actually come! Last time, at my birthday party, 15 people said they were coming, only 3 showed up. So, yeah, I'll be upset. Hey, y'all are invited, k? Let me know how you're doing!!!
